Logan County Pridefest Enjoys a Third Year

Lincoln, IL (June 3, 2023) Logan County Pride had much to be proud of as they presented their third Pridefest this Saturday, June 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at their new location of downtown Lincoln with double the number of vendors they had last year. CORAL was happy to be one of those vendors and was there early to help with any set up arrangements that were needed.

Vendors ranged from the familiar to the new, with services offered by PFLAG, Fifth Street Renaissance, Prairie Pride Coalition and others; as well as merchandise from Gigi’s Craft Shoppe, Diva Star, etc. and much needed treats from Amigo’s Tacos, Bee Sweet Treats and others. The new location on the Lincoln Square offered opportunity to cooler moments as three of the businesses, Mama’s Arcade, Spirited Republic and Guest House Coffee, were thankfully open during the day for attendees to catch a break from the mid-90’s temperatures. Spirited Republic also offered a Pride-themed t-shirt for sale for the event.

Activities included a pet costume contest and facial hair competition, as well as a large canvas for all attendees to paint their artistic appreciations for Logan County’s efforts to make the event the success that it was. And, entertainment was provided by a DJ in the morning, music by Monee in the afternoon, and karaoke late.

CORAL would like to take this opportunity to thank Logan County Pride for not only allowing us to be a part of their celebration but to congratulate them on another year of bringing Pride to Logan County.
