SPRINGFIELD, IL (May 21, 2019) - Springfield Pridefest held their 9th annual celebration on May 18th, 2019. The festivities included live performances, vendor and organization booths, events for kids, and a parade led this year by Governor Pritzker. CORAL was happy to help sponsor this event, march in the parade, and have a booth throughout the afternoon. Established in 2000, the Coalition of Rainbow Alliances (CORAL) is a non-profit volunteer group that facilitates networking for the Central Illinois lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities, all other sexual and gender minorities, their family and friends, and the organizations that support them.
