Logan County Pride Wets the Appetite for Pride

Lincoln, IL (June 7, 2025) While it was a rainy, wet afternoon on Saturday, June 7th, that didn’t drown the excitement and attendance for Logan County Pride’s Fifth Pridefest in downtown Lincoln.  With two full blocks of vendors, a line up of various entertainers on stage, and an event ending pie in the face for board member, Sam Downs, there was more than enough going on to keep the dampness at bay.

The afternoon began with a ribbon cutting with the board of Logan County Pride and the city mayor honoring the opening of Pridefest and the festivities continued with a walk about through a myriad of vendors selling items from cookies to furry items as well as information on various organizations for involvement opportunities.  Entertainment was provided by Silas Tockey and Gary Osborne as well.

For those who didn’t want the day to end, the evening brought a drag show at The Fox Hole by Sharon Share A-Like and her gang.

CORAL was happy to sponsor yet another annual event with the Logan County Pride group and hope to continue that support for years to come.
