Springfield, IL (November 24, 2024) The City of Springfield have resumed their annual contest for area organizations and businesses to decorate the downtown planters for the holidays and CORAL has joined the competition. With a brass deer in the middle, colorful accoutrements in gold and rainbow colors, and disco mirrored balls in different sizes, who could doubt this planter wasn’t designed by a LGBTQ group. But, just in case, CORAL added their logo to make sure it wouldn’t be missed.
For those who would like to get a closer look, you can find the planter located at the corner of 6th Street and Washington but make sure you go on a sunny afternoon when it glows in the light of the day. Wish us luck with the contest.
