CORAL Recognized by Habitat for Humanity
Updated: Dec 26, 2021
SPRINGFIELD, IL (November 16, 2021) - At various points over the past year, CORAL worked with the Habitat for Humanity to prepare a home to be given to a lucky family in need. This included a day of painting the home which was completed ahead of schedule.
In response to the work CORAL provided Habitat for Humanity, CORAL was recognized at the dedication of that home with a plaque and certificate of appreciation. It's gestures like this that make CORAL's work in the community so worthwhile. CORAL appreciates the work Habitat for Humanity does in our community and looks forward to working with them again in the future. Established in 2000, the Coalition of Rainbow Alliances (CORAL) is a non-profit volunteer group that facilitates networking for the Central Illinois lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities, all other sexual and gender minorities, their family and friends, and the organizations that support them.
