CORAL Joins Juneteenth to Celebrate Freedom

June 14, 2025 (Springfield, IL) It may have begun as a wet morning but that didn’t stop the celebration of freedom for Juneteenth on Saturday, June 14th at Comer Cox Park and the number of people walking the event-starting parade showed it.  At one point, the parade extended almost the entire mile route, starting at the Capitol City Elk’s Lodge to the Park. 

CORAL was not only proud to be a Green sponsor for the event but also a participant in that parade and to have a booth for the day at Comer Cox Park, where we were happy to see so many friends, allies, and partners.
