Springfield IL (August 28, 2022) Several months ago, CORAL began a donation campaign in remembrance of Stetson, a seeing eye dog of two members who had recently passed. We completed that honor today.
Several members took time out of their busy Sunday to create edible toys for the dogs and cats the Animal Protective League take care of and search for homes for. After several hours of filling plastic bottles with dog food, placing cat nip in Easter eggs, smearing peanut butter on frisbees, and spreading cat food on eating pads; a check was presented to APL.
The day was very rewarding and CORAL looks forward to working with this organization in the future.
