Springfield, IL (November 18, 2023) CORAL had the pleasure of nearly 70 guests on Saturday evening as we joined together to celebrate the season of thanks at the Lincoln Pavilion. With turkey and ham and all the fixings, desserts ranging from pumpkin pies and sweet potato muffins glazed with caramel; there was something to meet every taste.
CORAL’s friends came from all over, from Acorn Equality, Logan County Pride, and Decatur Illinois Pride to the Jaycees, Heartland MCC, and Capital City Men’s Choir. Several announcements were made from all present with the biggest reveal being CORAL’s Ritz theme for next year’s event – “Celebrating Every Journey.” A tri-fold of pricing was provided for all attendees to prepare for being at the event on March 23rd of next year.
As the festivities wound down and farewells were made, the food drive yielded a full pantry for the Fifth Street Renaissance Center as well. CORAL would like to thank all of our guests for attending and making the evening an enjoyable night for all.
