DECATUR, IL (October, 7, 2019) - The 2nd annual Decatur Pride festival was held in Decatur Central Park on October 5th, 2019. CORAL was excited to participate in this event and to support the LGBTQ community in and around Decatur. President of CORAL Jim Barr noted that the event was "highly successful with a lot of socializing as well as building connections with other organizations that we hope to work with on future events." CORAL is looking forward to returning again next year for another successful Decatur Pride.
Established in 2000, the Coalition of Rainbow Alliances (CORAL) is a non-profit volunteer group that facilitates networking for the Central Illinois lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities, all other sexual and gender minorities, their family and friends, and the organizations that support them.
