SPRINGFIELD, IL (December 1, 2019) - First Church of Brethren, Fifth Street Renaissance/SARA Center, Phoenix Center, Heartland MCC and the Coalition of Rainbow Alliances (CORAL) came together to recognize World AIDS Day on December 1, 2019. Several speakers discussed the importance of this event and of remembering those we have lost. The event was held at the recently dedicated HIV/AIDS Labyrinth in Lincoln Park. The AIDS Walk Committee announced that AIDS Walk would be returning to Springfield with the next walk scheduled for September 19, 2020.
