Springfield, IL (June 14, 2025) In its 43rd year of holding this event, CORAL celebrated Pride with a rare comfortable day and a wide array of treats at their annual Pride Picnic at Lincoln Park. After a day of celebrating with the Juneteenth folks, CORAL provided members with an evening of traditional picnic staples, and an assortment of favorites brought by those who attended.
With nearly fifty people attending that included old and new faces, CORAL was happy to simply sit back and enjoy some good old-fashioned socializing and catching up. With so much happening in the month of June for many, it was a pleasant moment to simply sit back and take a breath without the sweltering heat to remind you that Summer is upon us.
As is standard for a CORAL picnic, fried chicken, potato salad, tea, and lemonade were provided while other items included pasta salad, fruit salads, mac n cheese, as well a smorgasbord of different desserts.
